This performance titled, Nesting, was part of I’m With You at the Sundown Schoolhouse of Queer Home Economics on a Saturday 16 June 2012.

I’m With You are Johanna Linsley, Christa Holka and Justin Hunt - http://imwithyou.me/about/

The Sundown Schoolhouse of Queer Home Economics was created as ‘a place to queer our ideas of home, it is based in the very queer home of an intimate geodesic dome tent installed over a seating platform and conversation pit surrounded by fruit trees on the rooftop terrace of the Hayward Gallery for their pre-Olympics Wide Open School progra' - http://www.fritzhaeg.com/schoolhouse/projects/queer-home-ec.html

In response to the question ‘how do you make yourself at home?’ I made a durational performance based on notions of ‘nesting.’ During the day I placed piles of sunflower seeds around the space, climbed, perched, preened myself, and pecked - mainly at other people’s lunch!

This performance and the broader events of The Wide Open School at the Hayward Gallery was featured on the BBC Culture Show.
