Biography

Originally born in San Francisco, Kevin Biderman came to England at an early age. Since then he moved between France, America and the UK, but has been based in London for the last five years.

After completing his BA in Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University he started working as a freelance photographer. His photographs have appeared in numerous publications throughout Europe. He has recently completed a book of portraits which include Iain Sinclair, Cerith Wyn Evans and Steven Frears for Autrement Press.

He lectures in digital media and photography at City and Islington College, London. He previously lectured in imaging, photography, multimedia and film at the College of North West London and Fine Art Photography at Harrow College.

Teaching Experience

Harrow College
Kevin lectured in Fine Art Photography at Harrow College.

College of North West London
Kevin lectured at the College of North West London in film making, photography, multimedia design and English.

Brent Summer School – Wembley Park, London
Facilitated and taught week long workshops in computer imaging to students aged 8–11 and 12–16.

Raw Material – Brixton, London
Facilitated and taught video editing workshops to young people aged 15–19 in Brixton.

Hoxton Hall – London
Co-facilitated and taught a two week course called entitled Film Tracks. He aided the students in creating images and video for their performance.
